London West doesn’t flirt, it goes straight for full commitment with around 551m of elevation, relentless woodland climbs, and terrain so unpredictable you’ll genuinely wonder if the earth is doing it on purpose. Add a moody British spring into the mix and suddenly you’re dealing with natural mudslides, slippery descents, and rural curveballs that keep even the most seasoned Mudders questioning every life choice that led them here.
It’s widely considered one of the most physically demanding events in the UK, and you’ll understand why within the first kilometre. If London West had a dating profile it would scream: “I’m tall, toxic, dangerous, and will absolutely destroy your legs and your weekend.”
The Venue: Culden Faw Estate

Forget gentle countryside vibes, Culden Faw woke up and chose “character development.” This is the course that smiles sweetly while it ruins your quads. And yet… every year 15,000 Mudders sign up like: “Yes, ruin me again.” And honestly? We adore your poor choices.
London West isn’t just an event. It’s a full-body plot twist, and you’re the main character making terrible choices with enthusiasm. This hill-hungry beast will yell at your quads and life choices like a PE teacher who takes warm-ups way too personally, and you’ll still come crawling back for more.
Pretty? Yes. Painful? Absolutely. Perfect for Tough Mudder? Obviously.

THE DISTANCES: PICK YOUR POISON

5K: The Gateway to Bad Decisions
The 5K is your first hit of mud, filth-fueled nonsense, and questionable life choices. 12+ obstacles will baptise you in grime, make you sweat, make you laugh, and immediately get you plotting your next terrible decision.
Bonus: finishing the 5K at London West earns you step one toward the brand new Tough Mudder Trifecta. Complete a 5K, a 15K, and an Infinity in 2026 (anywhere on the globe), and you unlock the Trifecta Medal, your year-long badge of mud, bragging rights, and Instagram content that will make your friends weep with envy.
15K: 20 Obstacles of Pure Personality Testing
This is not “a park run.” This is a mild emotional breakdown with cardio. 20 obstacles engineered by someone who absolutely needs to be on a government watchlist. You will face walls, climbs, trenches, puddles, screaming, laughing, identity loss, all within the first 5K.
Finish it, and you’re over halfway to earning your 2026 Trifecta Medal, your personal trophy proving you willingly subjected yourself to mud, suffering, and several minutes of questioning every life choice that led you here.
Infinity: 8 Hours, Unlimited Obstacles
This isn’t like any other event. This is an 8 hour psychological experiment to see how fast a human can unravel while jogging in circles like a damp, confused hooligan. Unlimited laps. Unlimited suffering. Unlimited chances to loudly announce, “I’M NEVER DOING THIS AGAIN,” before signing up for 2027. If you didn’t argue with obstacles, , hallucinate a few, or briefly consider faking an injury… you didn’t commit.
Finish Infinity and you’ve survived the 5K → 15K → Infinity mud-fueled nightmare, unlocking the Trifecta Medal. Your official badge of mud, chaos, and bragging rights so potent they’ll make your toxic ex question all their life choices.
Kids By Spartan
Where small humans learn to get muddy early like you psychos. Junior-level chaos for tiny turbo-charged humans. Let them burn their energy before they start climbing your furniture at home.

Spectators Welcome & Camping Available
Bring them. Let them witness your public breakdown in real time. They’ll get entertainment. You’ll get emotional support (or heckling, depends on your friends).
Pitch up. Get cosy. Pretend you’re “resting” when in reality you’re lying awake mentally preparing to be bullied by hills. Because who doesn’t want to sleep in a field while smelling faintly of fear and triumph?
You’re Either In… OR YOU’RE A COWARD.
Don’t be the person on the sidelines clutching a latte, saying, “Maybe next year.”
Grow up. Be feral. Book it. Commit to it. Surrender like the hills own your soul because they do.
