What. A. Weekend. Nearly 14,000 of you took on the Yorkshire course with grit, guts, and a frankly worrying enthusiasm for face-planting into mud. The energy was off the charts, the teamwork was next-level, and the vibes? Unbeatable. Whether you took the course on solo, with mates, or for a cause, you made it one to remember.
Here’s a look at the top moments that had us laughing, crying, and rinsing mud out of places we didn’t know could get muddy:
Same Estate, Spicier Side
Broughton Hall might’ve been familiar, but this year’s course definitely wasn’t. We shifted to the other side of the estate and turned things up a notch: steeper climbs, tougher trails, and some seriously stunning views over the Yorkshire Dales. The kind of views that make your quads burn slightly less. Bonus: the mud stayed loyal. Thick, sloppy, and everywhere. You’re welcome.

The Obstacles: Filthy, Fearsome and Fan Favourites
Let’s talk classics: Kiss of Mud had you army-crawling through a VERY sloppy track like life depended on it. Mud Mile swallowed shoes, pride and probably a few white trainers (some people never learn). Well Swung made its comeback, and whilst a few of you nailed it (apparently around 25%), most of you took a flying lesson straight into the water. Cry Baby? No shame if you shed a tear or two. It lived up to the name.

The Lost Wedding Ring
Martin thought it was just another obstacle… until his wedding ring slipped off and disappeared into the mud like it had a vendetta. Cue full-body panic and the quiet realisation he might not make it home in one piece. Thankfully, a sharp-eyed volunteer spotted the sparkle, fished it out, and became an instant legend. Martin got his ring back, his marriage survived, and he probably owes someone a very large pint.

Team EMERGE: More Than Just Mud
This year’s event wasn’t just about getting round the course, it was about showing up for something bigger. Team EMERGE did exactly that, taking on the challenge to raise funds and awareness for Andy Man’s Club. Their message? EMERGEVICTORIOUS. And that, they did. Huge respect to every one of you.

Finish Line Feels (and Pizza, Obviously)
Let’s be honest, nothing beats that moment you cross the line. Medals, headbands and t-shirts in hand, greeted by a line-up of sponsors who really got it right. Free (hot) pizza from Eat Lean. G&Ts from Gin and Juice. Caffeine-free fruit blends from Reign Storm. Absolute bangers from JLab. And then the ultimate refuel: Wild West Jerky, Actiph Water, Emerge Focus and an ice-cold Prime Time Beer. That finish line hit different.
