THE VENUE
Spanning over 2,500 acres of private, working countryside set in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the course weaves through dense ancient pine forests, deep rutted tracks, and steep, natural valley ridges. But it’s the land itself that makes it notorious: built on Sussex heavy clay, the terrain transforms into a deep-rutted mud bath (and if it's been rainy enough, mud slides) that demands every bit of your leg power. Get through the estate in one piece and the finisher drink is on us.

After the 1000th complaint about our muddy courses, we decided to just blast runners with a fire hose while they climb up an enclosed tube.

Forty feet up, forty feet down, with nothing but a net.

Kids by Spartan
Kids by Spartan is a 1km, 1.5km, and 3km course packed full of obstacles to give kids aged 4-14 the chance to work as a team and get muddy. It’s THE mud and obstacle run for kids. This year, there’s no reason why the whole family can’t get muddy.
