THE VENUE
The showground sits on flat Cheshire farmland, the kind of ground that looks easy right up until you're standing in it. No hills to hide the obstacles and no slopes to help you build momentum, just open, level fields that put every obstacle front and centre. Flat doesn't mean forgiving here. It means the mud has nowhere to drain, the course has nowhere to break up the grind, and Manchester's mudders will find out exactly what "flat" costs you by mile ten.
OBSTACLES
Electric Eel
The shallow pool of water will do wonders for your conductivity as you crawl through a field of electrical wires.
Well Swung
Jump high, hang low, and let it all swing out on Tough Mudder’s take on the trapeze.
Shawshanked
Crawl with grace through these inverted tubes, because there will be no dignity when you flop out the other end.
WHAT YOU GET
2027 Finisher Medals
These aren’t just medals. They’re your proof that you signed up to get soaked, shocked, and thoroughly humbled… and somehow loved every second of it. For 2027, meet The Hex System: a slick new way to show off your story, one course at a time.
Finisher Shirt
The harsh reality of having a favourite shirt is that it’s usually the garment that suffers the most abuse. Whether you’ve dragged it through the mud one too many times or prematurely cut the sleeves off, chances are you miss the luster of when it was crisp and new. Cross the finish line in 2027 to earn your Tough Mudder finisher tee.
Finisher Headband
Each iconic orange headband symbolizes a badge of honor – crowned upon only the toughest of Mudders – for overcoming intense obstacles, exhibiting extreme mental stamina, and demonstrating unrivaled teamwork & camaraderie. Cross the finish line in 2027 to earn yours.
Finisher Drink
Cross the finish line and grab yourself some hard earned refreshment. You’ve worked hard, celebrate harder.
